Like Kierkegaard in the world of (later) non-Christian Existentialists, the point is that once you have an understanding of your world, you are free to do as you need to live as you should for He who you know.The real "rare" version of "Pure Effect" is the first spiral bound edition which I believe was only available after his lecture at the International Magic Convention, and possibly at one of Duncan Trillo's Mind Magic events. They seem like they're very hard to find and probably expensive so I'm after some opinions before investing time and money into finding these books. It is a very entertaining book just to read, it has great insights into presentation and performance, and some pretty advanced tricks. If I believed in spirits, I could almost hear the gleeful cackling of the late and foresighted Tony Andruzzi.
