I don’t think many 18 month year olds can quickly respond to the things it’s asking – I’d probably struggle to respond as quickly as it wants! When we opened the pup I immediately set the level to level 3, as my daughter is 18 months old, but having tried the other stages with her, she likes those just as much and I can see her recognizing things that she has already learnt, such as body parts and nursery rhymes – this brings her so much joy, so don’t by pass the earlier stages if you have a slightly older child. It’s really easy to switch between the three learning stages by gently pressing one of the Puppy’s paw. Keep in mind that anyone can view public collections - they may also appear in recommendations and other places.It has over 50 songs for children to sing along to, with phrases and tunes to teach them numbers, colours and the alphabet, with Smart Stages technology that will change the content to suit them as they grow! I think these toys are definitely toys that need adult input and a pause from time to time so the little ones can keep up. I feel that they turn the children into zombies – just pressing the same button over and over again.
