About this deal

You could make your own, too, but that's a lot more work for something that's supposed to be quick and easy, so I suggest sticking to a good quality brand of gluten free noodles. If you can't find miso paste, try adding some gluten free fish sauce for the pronounced “umami” flavor that miso delivers so well. I created a stir fry with the Zen Garden Vegetables and it was a milder blend with the sweet asparagus, crunchy green beans, spinach and yep you guessed it…ginger!

When you want to enjoy your gluten free Pho noodle pot, just simply add boiling water, whack the lid back on for 4-5 minutes and give it a good old stir. The good thing with these noodles is that they are quick and easy to make, and if you want to make a meal out of them, you can add these with other ingredients to a wok or a frying pan. However, there are a few exceptions to the rule as gluten-free products become more readily available. Please always read the labels, warnings, and directions provided with the product before using or consuming a product. If you're looking for a delicious substitution for egg noodles, you can use vermicelli noodles or rice stick options instead. Kabuto have however, helpfully made the packaging slightly different, as the gluten free pots have a red circle on the front and the non-GF ones don’t. I’ve been craving cup o noodle but was advised not to eat instant noodles anymore because of my stomach issues. I'm also looking forward to trying Doughnut Time GF donuts (London only) which they claim are coming soon.

Bragg brand Liquid Aminos is also a great choice, but lacks some of the depth of flavor of the others. The Kabuto noodles were a clear winner on appearance and packaging, with a very enjoyable fresh taste. I’ve no idea how authentic they are to oriental recipes, but I can taste what I expect based on the description on the cup – the chicken tastes like chicken, the broccoli tastes like broccoli, the ginger tastes like ginger, and so on. You can add protein to your gluten-free ramen noodle soup by topping with cooked chicken breast strips, shrimp, tofu cubes or tempeh strips. But for people like us who avoid certain things, it’s an absolute life saver when there’s inevitably no food around for us! So in conclusion, the Itsu noodles were tasty but rather over packaged and not so appealing in the looks department. Gluten intolerance is common; many may experience adverse reactions to gluten, a protein found in wheat, barley and rye. Mr Lee’s noodle pots, described as “gourmet oriental rice noodles in a cup”, are gluten free, contain nothing artificial, and are made from freeze dried vegetables rather than dehydrated ones to both lock in the flavour and keep the goodness in. If you are looking for a gluten free, noodle cup that you can eat anywhere, the Organic Instant Zesty Ginger Miso Ramen Pot ( https://kingsoba.
