The private museum, located in a grand fort at Al Samriya Farm, is one of the biggest private museums in the world and guides you through the Jurassic age to the early Islamic period and up to the present day, educating you on a wide range of topics. One of the few mosques in the region to welcome non-Muslims, the Grand Mosque Abu Dhabi has an open-door policy that allows each visitor to experience true Arabian hospitality.

The tour takes visitors on a journey through the Red Sea, allowing them to see the marine life without getting wet. Before travelling on a traditional Bedouin camp to sip tea and watch the sunset over the rose coloured mountains of Sharm el Sheikh.To all the others involved, the boat captains, boat crew, shore crew, thank you for making our dive trip so enjoyable. You can also hop on a quad bike and traverse the dunes at sunrise or sunset, taking in the kaleidoscope of colours in this biblical part of the world – it’s said that Moses was addressed by the Burning Bush here. Usually this short trip is taken at sunset to let tourists enjoy nice cool breeze and amazing sun at the dawn. The plan was for my wife, and the 3 kids (19, 17, and 14) to do their Nitrox course, and the eldest to do his AOWD.

This trip runs between October and April, when the daytime temperatures are lower and more pleasant for climbing and trekking (usually ranging 18-30 °C). Our hosts made our group feel very welcome and we were so well looked after - there was always tea on the go.
