About this deal

I really wish it was available when I was doing my Drama A level as it would have been brilliant to do.

Belief and scepticism clash, but something feels strange and frightening, and that something is getting closer, so they’re going to stay up… until 2:22… and then they’ll know. Elliot Cowan as Sam stands out in this production with his projection of his lines and successfully makes Sam the thoroughly irritating character he’s intended to be, this shows his calibre as a great actor, and it is nice to see Elliot back on a London stage. He’s also adapting “The Battlesea Poltergeist” for Blumhouse and working on a book based on his series “Uncanny” that should be due out next fall. In The Guardian, Kate Wyver wrote, "With a brilliant sense of mounting dread and just the right number of jump-scares, Danny Robins' new ghost story is a slick, chilling romp of a play", adding, "You wouldn't know this is Allen's first time acting in the West End.

Along with the album's announcement, the elemental Canadian trio have shared the video for single i felt a funeral. Sam and Ben instantly clash and it’s clear that Jen and Sam are also having difficulties, leading to increasing tensions that don’t just stem from the potential ghostly happenings. And with no shortage of star power – the Ahmanson cast comprises of “Crazy Rich Asians” lead Constance Wu, Emmy-nominee Finn Wittrock, “Pitch Perfect” actor Anna Camp and “Ozark” star Adam Rothenberg.

I read this after seeing the London play twice, and it is still as electrifying and beautiful to read as it was to watch. Set designer Anna Fleischle has created a simple realist set, which helps to set the domestic scene of a middle-class couple in the middle of renovating their Victorian home. And the story is hardly dead and buried: Conor McPherson, a modern master of ghost dramas, has found poetic truth in inexplicable phenomena in plays such as “The Weir,” “Shining City” and “The Seafarer. It visualises the stripping back the layers of the past and revealing people who have previously lived there. After discussing the strange noises, Jenny persuades the others to stay up until 2:22am to see what happens.

The clever use of a movement sensor on the back porch is exploited throughout the play to increase tension. I was wondering if the casting of Tom Felton could’ve been problematic; often actors known for a specific role can prevent the audience connecting to them in a different role. Until Jenny (Louisa Lytton) shares she thinks she’s been hearing footsteps in the baby’s room while Sam (Nathaniel Curtis) has been working away. Written by Danny Robins, creator of the hit BBC podcasts Uncanny and The Battersea Poltergeist, 2:22 A Ghost Story comes To Theatre Royal Brighton with actor Joe Absolom taking centre stage in this edge-of-your-seat, supernatural thriller. The cast guide the audience with skill, capturing the dynamic of a close-knit group, easing the crowd into dinner time conversation and minor bickering, only to amp up the ante and conflict with divisive beliefs and intermittent fox shrieks.Written by Danny Robins is pretty damn good and is simplistic in it's approach but impactful on it's conclusion.
