I bought it as a present for my husband and he loves it, so does anyone who visits even if they're not Harry Potter fans because every page is lovely.

In 2013, Scholastic commissioned Kazu Kibuishi to create new cover artwork for 15th anniversary editions of all of the titles. The traditional Chinese editions were published by Crown Publishing, using Mary GrandPré's art work. M. Riddle's Diary, Marvolo Gaunt's Ring, Slytherin's Locket, Nagini, Ravenclaw's Diadem, and Hufflepuff's Cup from book one to seven. The soft floor features a transparent fabric so we can able to see the bottom of the columns, and Fluffy's three vicious heads are visible in an opening in the castle wall.I wasn’t yet sure if I should aim for the scant illustration opportunities of older fiction and book jackets, or go all out for the little ones and become a picture book artist. Quite understandably, once the books took off — and considering that the stories progress in age through Harry’s school career — Bloomsbury turned to more experienced illustrators with a track record of art for this age range. All seven books from the phenomenally successful Harry Potter series are here, encased in a beautiful box showing icons from the series, and each book boasts stunning new cover illustrations by renowned woodcut artist Andrew Davidson.

Audio editions are sold in a box set of 14 mp3-CDs, using the same art, again performed by Rufus Beck. IF you even remotely like Harry Potter this is a must have, and even if HP isn't your bag, but you enjoy concept art, this would be an excellent addition to your collection. It could be said that all four Marauders appear - Sirius Black is probably the silhouette toward the bottom of the front cover, Peter Pettigrew's rat form is in the front flop, Remus Lupin in Werewolf form runs in the back cover, and Harry's stag Patronus (which resembles James Potter's Animagus) is in the back flap. This book goes through the ins and outs of the beloved school for witchcraft and wizardry, Hogwarts. The front cover features all Triwizard Champions - Harry Potter holding the Golden egg, Fleur Delacour, Viktor Krum, and Cedric Diggory.

The original was illustrated in pastel by noted artist Mary GrandPré, who has created the book cover and chapter art for the entire Harry Potter series. Bloomsbury, Scholastic, or any of the individuals or companies associated with producing and publishing Harry Potter books and films. K. Rowling was as unknown as I was, and it must have seemed a fairly simple thing to marry up her text with my illustration style, such as it was. Perfect for reading aloud, this edition is a must-have addition to the bookshelves of linguists and Scottish Harry Potter fans. But I’d heard what the journalist had in mind: he wanted to send a photographer to this person’s house and reveal to him that he is Harry Potter!

Unlike the initial UK children's edition that went through various cover artists, the American books stuck with one artist per significant edition, with Mary GrandPré being the main artist since the launch of the Sorcerer's Stone, until the publications of the 15th and 20th anniversary editions with new cover arts respectively by Kazu Kibuishi and Brian Selznick, though both editions have the same interior art by GrandPré. This officially licensed 192-page Gryffindor House Tiny Book includes plenty of information, artwork, and behind-the-scenes facts all about Gryffindor House at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry that features throughout the Harry Potter franchise. The fact is, this image has long been something for me to live down as much as it is something to be proud of, and the idea that it might be the crowning glory of my working life (hinted at by some, even now) is not appealing.
