About this deal

My daughter loves this book, as many others have said it is more like a booklet than a book, but the story is lovely and my daughter was so excited when she saw that Percy pig was bought a special clock just like hers, she now reads it to me having heard it so many times!

Due to popular request, this 2010 version of the Gro-Clock has a new feature allowing parents to choose whether or not to display the digital clock during the usual ‘stars to sun’ countdown. Another thing I’ve noticed is that Arjun no longer cries when he wakes in the mornings, he’ll happily babble away in his cot – something that’s very different to before we introduced the Gro Clock. Please sign up to my newsletter, so I can keep you updated with my various projects, including exclusive access to my latest Master Owl stories. If you have a child that decides the day starts at 5am and everyone must get up with him, then this product will help greatly but with time, effort and patience. It did take me a few times to get used to selecting the different functions, but it’s easy to remember now.

Bath, pyjamas, stories and milk, it's just that simple but the kids really like that comfort of knowing what's coming next at bedtime and what to expect. When it’s time to sleep, the blue clock face features a sleepy Ollie the Owl surrounded by hearts and stars. We love our Gro Clock, Boo loves to say goodnight to the sun each night and tell me that the stars are sleeping – hopefully in a little while she will start to ‘get’ that she needs to stay in bed until it changes to the sun again! We have a Gro-Clock but I’m still trying to get into a routine with it and don’t recognise the difference between sleep time and getting up time yet! Expecting your toddler to lie patiently in her bed for two hours more than she's used to just isn’t reasonable. Great review and you must be really delighted to get that extra half am hour sleep – at such small ales 30mins still means a lot!

I feel like the introduction of The Gro Clock has made Arjun feel a lot more comforted by having “someone” in his room with him during the night. and J goes at 7pm so he has that extra half an hour with full attention on him, as we did have jealousy issues when N was born (not that they have disappeared any! We have been looking for a suitable light as most are too bright to be left on all night or have a cut-out time of around 20 minutes , which is not enough. The Gro Clock is a great bedtime aid and is a product I can see coming more into its own as BattleKid gets older and as he moves from cot to bed.Chopsy Baby just couldn’t believe there was a product in the world that would make a wilful toddler understand that the day doesn’t start at 5am, so we decided it had to be tested. Also the Gro-clock has a digital clock display so that you can teach older children how to tell the time which is something Mia uses now that she’s a bit older. It is also ideal if your child needs to get up in the night to go to the toilet – it is just enough for them to see where they are going without needing the main light on. He is calmer and more settled getting into his cot than before meaning we are less stressed as parents and it has resulted in happier, calmer bedtimes in the BattleHousehold. As with all Gro products, these are well thought out, practical, easy to use and designed with children and parents in mind.
