Hygge is all about the atmosphere you create with people, and it can happen anywhere, any time, so don’t just deserve it for your home.Letting in natural light aids better sleep and living, while creating islands of light on a cold night creates warmth and brings people together. The Hygge Home will teach us all how to create a much-needed cozy safe space in our homes into which we can retreat to escape the tough things going on in the outside world. It shows who we are and where we have been… a hygge home has personality — it shows people who you are.

He is the author of three globally bestselling books which have sold over 2 million copies worldwide: The Little Book of Hygge, The Little Book of Lykke and The Art of Making Memories .The mini stories are quite nice but sometimes waffle-some, if you've already read "the little book of hygge" it may seem a little repetitive in the beginning but it goes into more detail. It’s also a tremendously practical book, and full of advice for the home you have now, not a perfect but unattainable mansion. Not to mention that lighting candles, or anything that produces smoke and ash, in an enclosed space isn't really the healthiest thing one can do for their body.
