This shower is great for the price. If you can’t have a high kw shower then I would definitely recommend this one. Bought this shower to replace a Mira Sport. Very quiet operation and gives plenty of hot water. Fast delivery and a good price. Very pleased I am looking for the nylon insert that fits into the base of the riser rail that in turn holds the soap dish via a screw that fits into it.
We made a like for like change as the thermostat went on the old on in a hard water area after six years, hope to get the same results from this one The Plumbworld Team love this new Mira Electric Shower! Needed a replacement electric shower to replace a very ancient Triton one that came with my apartment. Was recommended this one as it's easy to rectro fit; which it was.
Everything came on time ,this is the first time that I was informed with a delivery time which was most appreciated. This should happen everytime without fail,so you can plan your day .the shower was cheaper here than anywhere else. Rep aced a shower from the 1960s! It was easy for the plumber to fit & gives lovely hot water. Looks nice & work s well. With a 6mm cable, the jet is a bit limited, but has a setting fir a narrower jet which gives it more power, do would recommend this shower!Given time, your shower fittings can begin to look worse for wear, and by simply updating these, you can refresh your bathroom look without the need for a full bathroom project. It was relatively easy to install although I did have to make up some speed fit 90 degree elbows and plastic pipe as the inlet is in a different location on the new version. All good though for what is a fairly basic shower.
Excellent shower for the price. My plumber said it was very easy to fit. only took about 1 hour including removing the old one. Was installed very easy, works well, is as hot or hotter then the old one which was a higher wattage. Have not had it very long yet but so far it has no issues. The only thing that would be good to change (but does not effect use) is the green activation light will always stay on while it has power, so I need to turn it off at the wall switch outside the bathroom, the on and off switch on the unit does not turn it off. I think this should only be on when in use, but it is on permanently. Very pleased with our Mira Jump 9.5kw shower. Plumbworld was the best price I could find, fast delivery, wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Hi,I wondered if you can advise me,we have a Mira 8.5 jump shower and the water has stopped [email protected]. I have tried turning knobs and it makes no difference,could it be the heating element or thermostat .Please can you advise if possible,thanks Ken. Hi, we have inconsistent water temperature coming from our Mira Jump, sometimes scalding hot, sometimes cold. Could it be the thermal switch ? Any other ideas ?I need to replace the push button assembly on my Mira shower, could you please tell me if i do buy this part how do I fix it onto my shower because I can see on the broken part that the piece comes as one and has no way of slotting onto the shower. Bought this shower for my son's ensuite. It was delivered fast and was of good quality as you would expect from Mira. It was simple to fit and was plumbed in and connected up in less than an hour. It provides a fairly good volume of water for an 8.5kw shower in extremely cold weather in a Scottish winter. Very pleased with the results. It’s cheap and cheerful, which was perfect for my daughter’s limited budget when her existing shower quit working. Fitting was easy onto existing pipes and electrics and the shower was commissioned less than an hour after the old one was removed. It’s been working fine now a few weeks. I’ve fitted and used a few Mira showers over the last twenty years and always been happy
